Sorry I haven't been active, I have some SERIOUS pain in my lower abdomen (you know why..) and I can only groan and moan in pain on the floor whilst trying to check up on our twins.
Be it rain, shine, or even abdominal pains, I will check up on our boys no matter what!

This looks like they are actually filming a scene. Whatever his character, he looks SOOOOO awkward. I think he is to play a Host, and if so, he is not a very good one if he looks so uncomfortable Unless, this is a Behind the Scenes moment, then wow does he look unhappy.

And thus, ladies and....ladies, we get to enjoy the glory that is the socially-awkward Manpei!

The second one, where he looks really uncomfortable, I thought that they weren't filming but now that I watched it again with a sort of better hearing, I'm pretty sure that was also from a scene. Then the last one is a scene being filmed as well. XD

Mmmmm I could be wrong, but based on the video, Manpei's character works at a host club. Not as the host since the host club is one that the hosts are all females. ^^;;; (unless manpei wears a dress......8D LOL ok no he won't wear a dress in the movie XD) Even if it is a host club where te hosts are females, those places do tend to have males working there to escort the girls to their clients and I guess to make sure the clients don't take advantage of the hosts or something. *not sure* But for sure they do escort them to their clients. (manpei's character did so at one point in the video ^^;
My guess is that in the part that he looks uncomfortable might be when he is probably trying to get the job??? maybe...XD I could be really wrong about that since one, I can't understand much japanese, and two my hearing is extremely bad right now. ;______;

Yeah I'm so excited! If there is so much filming, it can also be that it's a drama or a movie......but the thing is, are they filming together??? o.o Because then Manpei would also have to stay in a hotel then unless he doesn't because he has to get ready for Play Star. That or Shinpei has more scenes........or maybe they are filming two separate things...

Wow, I haven't been here in like forever. I don't think anyone remembers me at all?
My son's been seriously sick and in hospital, but now that he's better I have some time for forums. Actually I read the last 20 pages of this thread while I should be working right now. I also saved all the pictures you posted on my work-computer, I must NOT forget to delete them.

I wanted to reply to so many topics you were talking about, but it's been so long since you wrote all that. xD

Can someone tell me the name of Manpei's new movie (the one with the female host in the hospital and the 7 suspects) again?

Closeness between twins:
I have to say that I think identical twins DO have that special connection since work. My father and his twin brother were INCREDIBLY close, right now their relationship is just as difficult - But that was unbelievable.

My twin sister and I are fraternal and I don't think we had this special connection since birth. What made us become so close was being the same age, being together all the time, sharing a room, having the same interests, etc.
I guess we're closer than most "normal" siblings (or closer than I am with my older sisters or younger brothers) but not as close as identical twins. We also don't look that similar, so we were never mixed up. Fortunately. ^^

It's even TOO big for me to feel comfortable, I like smaller rooms and comfy atmosphere..

Ouran Movie:
Somebody told me it was up with subtitles on YouTube in a bad quality but however long I searched for it, it was nowhere to be found. Either deleted or someone was just kidding or seeing things. -.-

And lol, I was wondering the same thing. Didn't Manpei once sprinkled rose petals in his bathtub? I'll tell you why he does that;

Asians normally sprinkle flower petals to enchance...*cough*..sexual desires. We believe the more the person smells like a flower, the better chances to attract someone for a relationship or to enchance the relationship with someone. I'm not sure how they do it in Japan, but my country, we don't just use one specific flower, we use a whole bunch of them, soak it in the tub with some sweet smelling oil, lit some aroma therapy candles and voila! The essence of the flowers will do the rest. Although, rose is quite popular in strengthening ones sexual aura.

Now we know why Manpei's so irresistable!!!

And lol, more like I think Shinpei would call Manpei and babbled out his day and how he misses Manpei until he's tired.

My son had a tonsillectomy (I hope that's the correct english word) which isn't that bad itself. But after the operation he got an infection which weakened his immune system and ended in pneumonia. He fought unconscious for days, then they thought his brain had been affected and he'd be disabled for the rest of his life. Luckily he's so strong.
Now except for his weight loss he's as healthy as ever and even allowed to go outside.

It feels like forever since I've been able to get on here, but don't worry, I've been keeping up with everything! I haven't really discovered anything new about the twins (aside from disagreeing with Manpei's new blonde hair ), but I figured I'd let you know I'm still here for good!

He must already be aware of how Manpei is in social situations and maybe keeps looking back at him to make sure he's "doing okay". Maybe to encourage him to keep talking, or pick up the slack when Man gets nervous and/or runs out of things to say.

I remember what Yusuke-san said during the Episode 0 cast interview, that Shinpei is more social and likes to get to know his fellow cast members, Manpei more or less seems to just do it as part of his job. I think there's only a handful of times he's actually mentioned staying in touch with former cast members, Sou-chan and the other actor who played his older brother on Geki Rangers comes to mind. And then there's of course their buddy Jyutta. . .

But yeah, I still thinks it's cute how being in social situations makes him kind of nervous. . .it's not often you hear about good looking guys like him being shy and reserved you know?

So I finally had the chance to actually watch this...wow. I felt like I was watching an episode of Clean House! (For those who don't know, Clean House is a show where three people go into an extremely messy home, sell a bunch of stuff at a yard sale, then use that money to redesign the rooms and everything. They even go on a search for the "Messiest Home in America" once a year!) (as strange as this sounds) I immediately recognized his "Beatles For Sale" shirt, and I LOVED the one he wore after that...with some meaningful English quote about the world that I can't remember now

...anyway. Manpei seemed pretty scary to me when he walked out. I love how Shinpei just kind of awkwardly stood there for a minute before following him? And I wonder what he said to him to convince him to come back and help some more?

I was SO disappointed when they came back for a follow-up and it was messy again...some people never learn I guess.

Did anyone else notice the random music from Mei-chan no Shitsuji that played in the background a couple of times? I had a fangirl moment when I did...

I'm going to go destroy the inside of my house now. Maybe the twins will come and help me clean it up!

It might be the case here, seeing how Manpei really is in a social gatherings and such. But it's true that Shinpei's the one who talks the most in such gatherings, and I even notices that Manpei sometimes stare at Shinpei, maybe to ask Shinpei to hint him with something to talk about.
What an awkward person..but that's his charm! Ah, we can't forget his sexiness either. And his voice... *drool* still send shivers down my spine when he starts to talk with that low baritone..

I just found out recently too! At first I wasn't even pondering as to why he likes to smell like a rose all the time until I remembered this article I once read about flower bath and the power of flowers. And then it hit me...NOW I know why he's like that! I bet his 'sexual aura' is a thousand times stronger than Shinpei's..
