Any Other Live Action?

I was wondering whether anyone has any suggestions for any other Live Action adaptations of anime Anime or Manga?

I've watched Zettai Kareshi or Absolute Boyfriend which was really different to the Manga...

I've also watched the Death Note films, Battle Royale, and Bloody Monday...

If you haven't seen hana kimi 2007, dude, you're missing out.
If you have, good girl/boy/i should probably check your profile, shouldn't i? ^^
Also hana yori dango if you haven't seen it.
[Right now I'm watching a KDrama called You're Beautiful, and it's reallllyyyyyyyyyy good, I don't know if it's a live action, but when you get the chance to, you should try and check it out. :3 Nodding

There's a difference between the two versions of Hana Kimi though! I'm also following Ikemen Desu Ne at the moment which is the Japanese remake of 'You're Beautiful' that usa-chan mentioned. Also, watch Mei-chan no Shitsuji. (Bonus Takagi twins!) I prefer it to the manga, actually. I liked Nodame Cantabile too. Um...yeah, i think the other dramas I've watched aren't Japanese ones. (That being said, the Taiwanese Hana Kimi is also awesome. As is It Started With a Kiss. And China's Prince of Tennis.)

And that's what I can think of at the moment that were adaptations. Razz

Arakawa Under The Bridge XDDDDD It started recently and I only watched the first episode but... OH GOD it's funny to see all those actors cosplaying XD (Oguri Shun as the Village Chief and Yuu Shirota as Sister... LOLOLOLOL).
More manga-to-dorama adaptations that weren't mentioned yet... Hmm... Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Perfect Girl Evolution), Liar Game (MATSUDA SHOTAAAA), Kaiji (movie), Honey And Clover (never watched it tho lol), Kimi Wa Pet and Devil Beside You (Akume De Sourou, taiwanese adaptation). Hayate the Combat Butler (taiwanese) started recently too, but I only watched it for a few minutes so I don't know if it's good XD

Other doramas that everyone and their mothers should watch: Sungkyunkwan Scandal, City Hunter, Clone Baby, BOSS, Kaizoku SPEC & Coffee Prince o/

My favorite drama of all-time is Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. They took some liberties with the original story, but all in all, I think it's a lovely drama, with a nice balance between hilarious and downrign depressing - or maybe that's just me, because I might have already cried at every single piece of fiction every created. OH WELL.

So, it's not a GOOD adaptation (in the sense of good writing or terribly good acting) but it is certainly enjoyable...try RH+

Also Tokyo Ghost trip. It looks like it might be a manga or anime adaptation but I honestly don't know...it was cute anyway~

Cat Street. It was short and a bit under the radar but it was by Kamio Yoko who created Hana Yori Dango and I really loved the manga and the live action Smile

NODAME CANTABILE Live-Action is a MUST-SEE!! The only live-action I've ever seen that uses alot of comic-like special effects besides OURAN^^

I'm in love with GANTZ live-action too. I become the manga fan after watching GANTZ live-action movie.

NOT recommended is HONEY & CLOVER live-actions (all three: japanese drama, japanese movie and taiwanese). The adaptations somehow failed so much to depict the manga and anime's soul. So disappointed. The most decent one is the J-drama, but I'm still kinda disappointed with it.

Has anyone watched "Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu"? I saw a cute gif of a scene between Yamamoto Yusuke and Kitagawa Keiko and was wondering if his character had any romance in the drama. I might watch it if Yusuke plays a major role, but I tried the first episode and didn't see him that much.
