You cringed a bit when you heard the clock on the wall strike twelve, signalling that it was time for you to FINALLY leave the 24-hour store that you worked at. As if on cue, the person that was taking your place walked in the door, sighing at the fact that he had to spend the entire night there, sometimes assisting the mostly drunk customer that make their way to the store.
“Hey, Michelle... be safe walking home, okay?” he had said, taking his place behind the counter. You gulped again. Why oh why did you agree to take the night shift? Granted, you did get paid a bit more than working the day shift... and you needed the money, but you had to walk home by yourself in the dark, where anything could happen.
You nodded to your coworker before you left the store, throwing your bag across your shoulders as you started the trek home. You kept your pace quick, wanting to get home as quickly as you could. The street was empty, and you had to walk down four blocks before turning a corner and walking down another two. You cursed your car for going out on you and having made you leave it in the shop to get fixed. Dammit.
You kept a tight grip on the strap of your bag, keeping your gaze focused ahead of you. Suddenly, you started to hear footsteps behind you and your breath hitched in your throat. Nope. It was just your imagination messing with you, that’s all. Your pace quickened, and you could hear the footsteps behind you quicken as well. You whimpered a bit, fear sending chills down your body, and before you could make a run for you, a large hand clamped right over your mouth, muffling any scream you tried to let out. You struggled against your captor, kicking your legs and flailing your arms as he started to drag you to the closest alley way. Oh no! This couldn’t happen! Not to you!
You’re thrown face first against the brick wall and you cry out. “Keep your eyes close. If you look at me, you are dead,” your assailant hissed in your ear, making you sob. You cried out when he reached around you and ripped your button up shirt open, pushing the cups of your bra up to roughly squeeze on your breasts. You continue to sob, and you are sick to realize that your attacker was getting off on it, feeling his hardon against your back area as he grinded against you. “Don’t be scared, sweety. I’ll be gentle.” You cried out louder when he reached for your pants, and you tried kicking your feet back to hit him, only to gasp sharply when you felt a hard blow to the side of your face. He had punched you, sending you straight to the ground.
You fearfully look up at your attacker and before he could do or say anything, there is a loud BANG! and he’s sent screaming to the ground, clutching onto his shoulder tightly. From the streetlight on the sidewalk, you could barely make out traces of blood on his shoulder, as well as another figure rushing to you. “Hurry and get up!” his deep voice commanded of you and you sat there, stunned, and you knew that you wouldn’t be able to get up anyway. If you tried to stand, you may just fall right on your face. He sighed and you shakily trying to shift back away from him as he tried to get closer to you. You couldn’t even talk to tell him to stay away from you.
“Don’t worry... I just want to help you,” he said softly and you stared at him. Should you even believe him?
“YOU BASTARD! Who do you think you are?!” you attacker yelled from his spot on the ground. He tried to get up, only for your hero to kick him back down on his stomach. He was facing your attacker, and when your attacker finally got a good look at him, he gasped, paling a bit. “I-it’s you!”
Your hero snorted, giving your attacker another kick for good measure before he quickly approached you. You cried out when he easily picked you up into his arms in a bridal style, and you struggled to get away, hitting his face with your arm and making him grunt. “Will you relax?! I’m trying to help you!” he snapped and you whimpered. He looked at you, and you couldn’t get a clear look of his face because it was so dark outside. He sighed and shook his head. “I’m sorry... but I really am trying to help you. You have to trust me, okay?”
You could hear the sincerity in his words and you nodded your head a bit, clinging onto his shirt. He started to walk away from the alley, and you quickly looked over his shoulder at your attacker. You shivered at the glare that we was sending you and you quickly hide your face against your hero’s chest. If it weren’t for him, you’d probably be on that alley ground, being raped by that monster.
Your hero was taking you somewhere, and you honestly didn’t have the strength to ask him where he was going. You only stayed in his arms, your eyes screwed shut as whimpers and sobs still continued to leave you. You still couldn’t believe what had happened... what had ALMOST happened. He finally came upon a garage door and he knocked his knuckles against the door before stepping back. You buried your face against his chest again when you heard the door being opened. You didn’t want to look at anyone.
“Finally, you’re here! Where the hell were y-- Who is she?”
“Himchan, call Natacha and get her over here now. I’m putting her in my room.”
You peeked over at this Himchan person, and he eyed you warily before nodded his head. “Alright, man.”
“I’ll explain later, okay?”
With that, he finally walked inside. You picked up your head more to find yourself inside what looked like an auto shop of some sorts. It was rather huge, with open stairs that led to a second floor.
“Hyung, who is that? What happened to her? She looks hurt.” A rather tall boy then approached them, and he looked at you with worry. You only turned your head away, burying it yet again against his chest. He sighed.
“I’ll talk to you guys later. Natacha is coming over, so make sure you have the first aid kit ready for her.”
“You’re not going to take care of her, hyung?”
“I think with what’s happened, it’s better if we have another girl do it...”
He then left the young man, climbing up the stairs to the second floor. He walked down a long hallway before walking inside a medium sized bedroom. He turned on the light before gently laying you down on the bed. You quickly pulled your ripped shirt over your chest to cover yourself before you looked up, finally able to see your hero’s face.
He was... breathtaking. He had a rather hard face, and it kind of matched the deep voice that he had. His eyes were piercing, yet they were still looking at you with great concern.
“We’re having someone come over to take care of you, okay? Don’t worry about anything, you’re safe here. So just sit and rest until she comes, okay?” he asked you softly and all you could do was nod. He nodded at you before he left the room, closing the door behind him. You just laid on the bed, staring up at the ceiling as you recollected tonight’s events.
You were attacked. You were almost raped. If anything, your attacker might have killed you right after he was done with you! Just the thought alone was enough to set you into a fit of hysterics and tears and you curled into a ball on the bed, sobbing. How could this have happened to you?!
You didn’t know how long you were curled into a ball, crying your eyes out, but you slowly sat up when you heard a knock on the room door. The door opened and a girl around your age walked in, a bag in her hand. She smiled at you before closing the door. She approached you and sat on the bed and you just looked at her as she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose before opening the back. “Yongguk-oppa told me what happened,” she said softly grabbing a first aid kit from the bag and setting it on the bed. She also pulled out some clothes and a towel. “You’ve got a rather nasty gash on your face. Would you like to take a shower first before we treat it?”
“Y-yes...” you managed to say and she smiled. “You’re... Natacha?”
She nodded. “Yea, I am. Now come on... I know you don’t want to be in those clothes anymore. I have some of my clothes here that I left over. You can borrow them, okay?”
You nodded gratefully and Natacha helped you stood up from the bed. “Thank you...”
Natacha led you out of the room towards the bathroom. She gave you a smile as she closed the door, leaving you in the bathroom alone to take your shower, which you did. You scrubbed yourself raw until your skin was red, wanting to get rid of the awful feeling of that monster touching you. After you felt that you had cleaned yourself enough, you turned off the shower and pulled back the shower curtain, seeing that Natacha had came back and left the clothes and towel in the sink for you. You dried yourself off and pulled on the clothes, wincing a bit as you combed your fingers through your hair to get rid of any knots.
Opening the door, Natacha greeted you with a smile. “Feel any better?”
You sighed. “Not really...”
Giving you a sad smile, Natacha led you back to the room, where she opened the first aid kit and started to apply antibacterial ointment at the gash that you have on your face, which resulted in the hard punch that your attacker gave you, having hit your cheek bone, which caused the gash. After she put the bandaid over your wound, she nodded. “Alright, I’m done.”
“Thank you.”
“It’s not problem, um... what’s your name?”
“... It’s Michelle. You said that Yongguk told you what happened... is he the one with the deep voice?”
Natacha nodded her head. “Yep! That’s Yongguk-oppa! He said that he heard your cries when he was heading back over here and that’s when he found you being attacked. He may look rough on the outside, and has done plenty of bad things, but Yongguk-oppa has a really big heart.”
You couldn’t help but smile. Yongguk... he was your knight in shining armor. “Can I see him?”
“Oh yes, of course! He had Youngjae make some food for you, even though it’s almost two AM... Yongguk-oppa is weird, but don’t tell him I said that,” Natacha winked at you and you laughed lightly. She led you back downstairs, where you see Youngguk and the other guys lounging around on the couch. Yongguk is first to hop off the couch and he comes to you, staring down at you.
“... Are you okay?” he asked and you smiled at him, bowing.
“I am. Thank you so much for saving me. I owe you... I owe you everything.”
“Nah, you don’t owe him anything,” the one named Himchan then approached you. “He wouldn’t let anyone get attacked without helping. That’s just the kind of guy he is, even if he does look scary,” Himchan grinned and slapped Yongguk’s back, earning a glare from the man, who shoved him.
“Yah!”
You giggled as Yongguk and Himchan had their little spat, and you looked up when the three others had approached you and Natacha, the tall one from before quickly wrapping his arms around Natacha and holding her close.
“Thanks for coming, noona...” you heard him whisper to her, and Natacha nodded.
“You’re okay?” One of the other’s asked you and you nodded. “Yeah, I’m fine, thank you,”
Just... who were these people? Natacha had said that Yongguk has done some bad stuff... so did these other guys do anything bad? Did her? Were they a gang or something?
“Hey Michelle,” Natacha called to you and you looked at her. “Youngjae finished your food, so go on in the kitchen and eat.”
You nodded and one of the guys, who you found out was named Daehyun, led you to the kitchen, where you could smell the delicious food. You looked around, expecting to see Natacha with you, but when you looked to the steps, you see her lips locked with the tall one’s, and you blinked when he easily lifted her, her legs wrapping around his waist as he started to carry her up the stairs.
Well then.
You go into the kitchen, where Youngjae had just finished putting down a plate of food on the round table in the corner. He looked at you and gave you a fluffy smile, pulling out a chair for you to sit on. “Just relax and eat, okay?” You smile gratefully at Youngjae and sit down to eat, sighing. You WERE hungry, after that long shift you had at work, and with everything that happened, it’s made you exhausted and even hungrier.
After you finished eating, you joined the rest of the guys in the other room. You’ve learned the names of the others, Daehyun, Jongup, and the one that Natacha went upstairs with was Zelo. They were discussing something that you didn’t understand, and you just studied them carefully. “Are you guys a gang?”
They went silent and looked over at you, and you blushed slightly, turning your head a bit. You hoped that you didn’t step on any toes. If they WERE a gang, then that means in the long run, they were dangerous... even if they are doing everything they can to help you.
“You can say that,” was Yongguk’s answer and you nodded slowly.
“Yeah, I thought as much...” You bit your lip and kept quiet. The less you knew the better.
“Alright, Michelle, it’s getting rather late and we’re just about to head to sleep... you can stay in my room tonight,” Yongguk said, standing by you and you blinked at him, surprised.
“But where will you sleep?”
“With Himchan,”
Himchan snorted. “Yeah, on the floor.”
Yongguk ignored him and you sighed. “I feel bad that I’m taking your bed away...”
“You’re not taking it, I’m giving it to you. Now go on, go to sleep.” He started to wave his hands in a shooing motion and you couldn’t help it, you stuck your tongue out at him, and you thought he’d get mad, but when he gave you a wide, gummy smile, your heart had skipped a beat. That was totally unexpected. You nodded your head and said goodnight to the guys before you started up the stairs, and you can hear the guys following behind you. You walked back over to Yongguk’s room, turning your head when you heard knocking.
Youngjae was knocking on a closed door, and annoyed look on his face. “Yah! Ya’ll two better keep in down in there!” he called, and as if on cue, you heard what sounded like Natacha squealing before she started laughing loudly. Youngjae groaned and threw his his back. “Can never get any sleep when she’s here!”
“I love you too, Youngjae~!”
“Alright, alright, let’s leave the two lovebirds alone,” Daehyun pushed Youngjae away from the door and the guys started to file into their respective rooms, until it was only you and Yongguk standing in the hallway. You looked at him and smiled and he smiled back, and your heart started to swell.
“Thank you, Yongguk,” you said softly. He scratched the back of his head.
“No need to thank me, Michelle. It was the right thing to do. I couldn’t just let you be hurt like that.”
Your smile widened and you looked down to the floor, a blush crossing your face. “Goodnight, Yongguk,”
“Goodnight, Michelle.”
~*~Three Weeks Later~*~
You were back at work, restocking the shelves as the new inventory of items had came in earlier that morning. You had told your boss what had happened to you that one night, and he has promised to never let you take the night shift again. He had even offered for you to take a break off of work, but seeing as you couldn’t do that, you declined. So now, you leave work at 6PM, as per usual, and it was still bright enough at that time to get home safely.
But things can still happen during the day time... You quickly shook your head to get rid of those negative thoughts. You can’t think like that at all. You were slowly trying to get over what had happened. Natacha, your new friend, had taken you to get a bottle of mace, as well as a pocket knife that you now carry in your pocket every second of everyday. She calls you at leave three times a week, checking up on you and seeing if you’re okay, but that’s not as much as Yongguk did. He has a bit of a habit at showing up at your apartment door unannounced, sometimes with the others, sometimes by yourself.
Ever since B.A.P, their gang, had came into your life, things started to get a bit interesting. Yongguk would leave you money, or sometimes Daehyun would be waiting at your apartment with food for you to eat after work. They were stepping out of their way to take care of you, and you appreciated that a lot, but it annoyed you sometimes. You needed your space.
“Hey, that’s just how they are,” Natacha had once said one day when you two were getting lunch together. “I’ve known them for a year now, and they still like to just roll up in my place like they lived there.”
“Yeah, but I’m sure you wouldn’t mind Zelo, right?”
She had blushed and threw a piece of food at you. “Shut up!” You dodged and laughed before you two finished your lunch. You really had to talk to Yongguk about this.
And lo and behold, after you had gotten home after your shift was over, there he was, standing at your door. You had placed a hand over your chest to try and stop your heart from beating so fast. Dammit, why did you have to react this way whenever Yongguk was around?
“Hey,” you greeted him and he grinned at you.
“Hey.” You opened the door and walked into your apartment, Yongguk following behind you and closing the door. “How was work today?”
“Oh, the usual. Rude customers and all that fun stuff. I had to stock the shelves and now I’m sore,” you whined. You cracked your back, sighing in relief as you just fell down onto your couch. Yongguk pushed your feet away from one of the seats and he sat down. You pouted a bit before you sat up, crossing your legs on the seat and looking at Yongguk.
“You know...” you started, but hesitated, biting your lip. You really didn’t want to sound ungrateful. You were incredibly grateful for Yongguk and his guys for watching over you, but you just couldn’t have them around all the damn time. “I just... you don’t have to keep coming over to check on me, Yongguk.”
He turned his head to look at you and he blinked. “Why not?” he asked, totally not getting why you were saying this.
“Because... Yongguk I need my space. I mean, I’m really grateful for what you guys are doing for me, really, but... I’m a big girl. I can take of myself. I don’t need protecting all the time...” You chewed on your bottom lip, playing with your fingers nervously. Please don’t let him take it the wrong way.
“You’re right.”
“Bwoh!?”
Yomgguk laughed at your reaction. “What, did you think I would get mad at what you said? You’re right, we have been kind of suffocating, but we just make sure you’re okay. We have to take care of our girls, you know?”
“...your girls?”
“Yeah. You and Natacha.”
“I’m your girl? When did THAT happen?”
“We I brought you to the garage. And since the guys like you so much, and Natacha has taken to you as well. That makes you our girl, and we look out for our girls.”
Oh... oh wow. “Oh,” you said dumbly and Yongguk laughed again. You glared and swatted his arm. “Don’t laugh! But wait, this doesn’t mean--”
“No, no. We keep your guys out of that. You don’t need to worry about that at all. You just live your life how you want, and know we’re just a call away if you need us.”
You grinned brightly, and you just couldn’t help but jump on Yongguk, wrapping your arms around him in a tight hug. “Because of you, my neighbors think I’m some kind of mafia wife!”
Yongguk burst into laughter and wrapped his arms around you. “Maybe we should give them a reason to think so~” He wiggled his eyebrows at you and you gaped, hitting his shoulder.
“Yongguk!” you yelled, face red and laughing, and he laughed with you, his arms still wrapped around you and hold you close to him. You both stopped laughing after a moment and you looked at each other, Yongguk gently reached up and tucking some hair behind your ear. “Like I want to be with some bad boy gangster.”
“But girls like bad boys~”
You snorted and smacked him again. “Oh, shut up! And let me go!” you ordered, only to be pushed onto your back on the couch, Yongguk hovering over top of you.
“Are you sure~?” he asked teasingly, just staring down at you and not touching you at all. Still, the position was enough to make you go beet red, your heart pounding in your chest. What has gotten to him all of a sudden, and why was he staring down at you with smoldering eyes that seemed to stare right into your soul.
“Y-Yongguk?” you said softly and he blinked a few times, seeming to snap out of whatever trance he was it. He sat back on the seat, allowing you to sit back up as well and he gave you a sheepish grin.
“Ah, sorry if I made you uncomfortable...”
You shook your head. “N-no, it’s okay, Yongguk...” You rather liked being underneath him.
...
What the hell did you just think?
“Really? Well, I’m gonna get on outta here. Give you some space~” Yongguk mocked you, wiggling his fingers and making you laugh.
“For a gang leader, you’re such a dork!”
“Do you want me to go on gang leader on you?” his face suddenly got hard and you quickly shook your head now, and a grin cracked on Yongguk’s face. “Bye, Michelle~”
“See ya, Yongguk.” Yongguk left your apartment and you just laid back down on the couch, sighing. Great, now you wanted the company, but Yongguk was probably long gone by now. You huffed. You might as well shower and eat in the meantime. You planned on going to bed early, since you had another long day of work tomorrow.
~*~That Saturday Night~*~
“Um, why are we here again?” Natacha asked you unhappily over the loud blasting music coming from the club speakers, and you glared at her.
“To have fun!”
“Fun?! My kind of fun is with Ze-” You put your hand up, silencing whatever Natacha was going to say.
“I don’t want to hear it!”
Natacha pouted and just too a large sip of the drink in her hands. You had dragged Natacha out to the local club, just wanting to have fun and dance the night away. Natacha didn’t want to go, but you didn’t have a hard time guilt tripping her on coming anyway. She glared at you, calling you every insult in the book as she slipped on a nice black dress, slipping on a pair of flats, since she wouldn’t last two seconds in a pair of heels. You, on the other hand, was wearing a nice dark purple dress with a pair of not too high silver heels, the two of you sitting at the bar, sipping on your drinks.
“Here are our girls~!” You turned your head, stunned at the sight of B.A.P making their way towards the bar, though more stunned at the fact that Zelo was with them. From what you know, he was only 16, and you have to be 18 in order to even enter the club.
“Zelo? How did you-?”
“The owner is my cousin,” Zelo just said with a grin and you nodded slowly. Alright then. Of course, he latched himself right onto Natacha, and had leaned over to whisper something in her ear, which made her blush and swat his shoulder.
“You’re so naughty!” You almost gagged. Oh God, could they NOT? “Come on, let’s dance!” Zelo happily followed Natacha out onto the dance floor and you shook your head.
“Those two...”
“Well, what can you do, huh?” Himchan asked with a smirk. He fixed his hair a bit and rubbed his hands together. “Now if you guys will excuse me, I have some ladies to pick up.” And Himchan was off, off on the quest to find some lovely ladies to lay. Oh nice.
Jongup, Daehyun, and Youngjae had went off to find a table to sit at, since they weren’t even old enough to drink, and Yongguk kept you company at the bar, though he was staring at you quite a lot, and you fidgeted under his gaze. “W-what?”
“It’s just... you look really... beautiful, Michelle. And sexy. Really sexy...” Yongguk licked his lips and you shuddered, a chill going up your spine. Oh no, Yongguk, no. Don’t even. “Do you want to dance?” Not able to find your words, you nodded and Yongguk grinned, taking you by your wrist and taking you out onto the crowded dance floor. A rather hardcore dance song was playing, and all around you two, there were grinding body and hands groping. From the corner of your eye, you can make Natacha and Zelo practically dry humping each other, Zelo’s mouth attached to her neck. You shook your head, jumping a bit when you felt a pair of hands grab on your hips from behind.
“Sorry,” Yongguk whispered in your ear and you shivered again before nodded. He grabbed your hips again and you could feel his chest against your back as you two started to dance. You let the music take control, letting your body just go at it’s own accord. Yongguk was incredibly close, his cologne just invading your nostrils in the best way. His body moved perfectly with yours, his hands still on your hips in a tight hold. You shivered when you felt Yongguk brush his lips against your bare shoulder, pressing back more against him so you were practically grinding on him. You felt so hot in his hold, you almost couldn’t breath, and somehow you managed to take in a sharp breath when he kissed you right below your ear. You opened your eyes, which you didn’t even know you closed in the first place, and you suddenly went cold.
“Y-Yongguk...” you whimpered, stopping your dancing. He was still kissing on your neck, not noticing just who was staring at the two of you. “Yongguk!”
“Hmm?” he groaned before he realized that you were shivering, just staring ahead of you. He followed your line of sight and drew in a large breath, his hold on your hips tightening more when he finally saw him.
Your attacker. You had started to shake more violently, the images from that night flooding into your head nonstop. “Come on, Michelle. Let’s go sit you down.” Yongguk dragged you out of the dance floor, and you could just feel your attacker’s gaze on you. He led you over to the table, and only Jongup was sitting there, talking to a girl who was wearing rather revealing clothing.
“Leave,” came the hard order from Yongguk when he looked at the girl, who paled and quickly left as she was told.
“Hyung? Noona? What’s wrong?” Jongup asked when Yongguk sat you down next to the younger boy. He looked at you worriedly, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and you quickly hugged onto the younger man. “Noona, what happened?” he whispered to you.
“The bastard that tried to rape her is here,” Yongguk growled and Jongup bristled. “Jongup, you keep her here. If anything goes on, you take her back to the garage. Am I clear?” Jongup nodded. “Good. Text the others and let them know too.”
“What are you going to do?” you asked, looking at Yongguk with wide eyes. “Please, don’t hurt yourself...”
“Don’t worry, Michelle,” he said, his eyes softening as he looked at you. “I’m just going to scope him out, I won’t even approach him,” Yongguk promised you and you nodded weakly, watching as he moved away from the table. Jongup held onto you tighter and you clung onto him.
“It’ll be okay, noona...”
~*~ With Yongguk~*~
Yongguk scoped around the club like he said he would, having a word here or there with people that he knew. He kept his eye on the bastard, his stomach churning when he saw that he was dancing with all these girls. Did they not know this guy was a rapist? A monster that forces himself upon women? Men like him make Yongguk sick. Time and time again, Yongguk would catch his gaze, and he would just glare back at Yongguk challengingly, smirking whenever a rather young looking girl would grind against him. Yongguk’s fists clenched with anger, and it was all it took for him not to pounce on him and kill him.
“Hey, hyung~! Why aren’t you dancing with Michelle-noona anymore? Did she get the tired?” Zelo approached the older male, a grin on his face. Yongguk looked at the tall boy and just pat his shoulder.
“You didn’t get Jongup’s text?” he asked and Zelo blinked, digging in his pants pocket before blinking again and sending Yongguk a sheepish smile. “You left it home?”
“Y-yeah...”
“Where is Natacha?” Yongguk had just realized that she wasn’t with Zelo and he quickly looked out to the dance floor. He couldn’t see him! “Where is she?!”
“Sh-she just went to the bathroom, hyung?” Zelo replied, a bit taken aback when Yongguk yelled. “Why? What’s wrong?”
Yongguk didn’t answer the biy and made his way towards the bathroom, pushing past people and ignoring Zelo who was walking behind him trying to catch up. Yongguk had just caught sight of the hallway that led to the bathrooms when he saw Natacha storming out, an angry look on her face. She noticed Yongguk and she tried to make it over to him, only to be roughly pulled back... by that bastard.
“Let go of me, you pervert!” he heard her yell, trying to yank her arm from his grip. The bastard had the fucking nerve to slap Natacha right across her face, and before Yongguk knew it, he was on top of him, wailing at his face with his fists. He could only think about what this guy had done to hurt Michelle, and how he tried to hurt Natacha, who was lying on the floor, holding onto her cheek as Zelo quickly handed her her glasses which fell onto the floor.
“You fucking bastard!” Yongguk bellowed at the bastard, not showing him any mercy. How dare he touch
HIS girls?
“Alright, BBang, that’s enough!” Yongguk barely registered Himchan’s voice, shaking him off when he tried to grab Yongguk off of him. “Ugh! Daehyun, Youngjae, help me!” The three of them, along with two other clubbers, were finally able to get Yongguk off of the bastard before he could actually kill him. He was still hollering, yelling at how he was going to kill him if he ever saw him near his girls again.
“Hyung, come on! Jongup and Zelo and taking Natacha and Michelle back to the garage! Come on!” Himchan tried to reason with Yongguk and get him to leave, but that was a rather hard thing to do with an irate Yongguk. Surprisingly enough, he shook out of their grasps and made his way towards the exit of the club.
“Let’s go!”
~*~Back With You~*~
You were panicking. You had just gotten back to the garage with Zelo, Jongup, and Natacha, and you were a blubbering mess as you looked over Natacha’s face, an angry red handprint right on her cheek.
“Calm down, Michelle, I’m fine!” Natacha grabbed you by your shoulders, rubbing them softly to try and calm you down.
“Yeah, if anyone should be upset, it should be me!” Zelo exclaimed, pacing back and forth, his fists clenched before he suddenly made a beeline for Natacha, gently grabbing her by her face and kissing her deeply. “I’m sorry, noona. I was stupid for leaving my phone and then leaving you at the club. I should have went with you and now you’re hurt and...”
You covered your face and sighed, moving away from the couple so they could talk amongst themselves. You sat down on the couch, holding yourself. “They should be back soon, right?” You turned to ask Jongup, and he nodded, a bit unsurely, but as he did so, the garage door opened and in stormed Yongguk, followed by the others, an angry look on his face and you noticed the blood that he had on the knuckles of his hands.
“Y-Yongguk?” you said, standing up from the couch. He stormed over to you and before you can comprehend what was happening, he was grabbing you by the sides of your face, giving you a rough and deep kiss that literally took your breath away. You couldn’t help but squeak when he pulled away from the kiss, pressing his forehead against yours and running his thumbs along your cheeks, his one thumb running along the still healing gash on your cheek. “Youngguk...”
“I will always be here to protect you, Michelle. Always...” He kissed you again, this time softly. You looked up at him, tears slowly forming in your eyes, but you shook this off, gently grabbing his hand.
“C-come on...” You led him upstairs to his bedroom, making him sit on his bed as you went to find the first aid kit. You returned after a moment and you sat down next to him, grabbing his hands. First you started to clean the blood of his knuckled with alcohol wipes, and you come to realize that it was a mixture of his blood, with your attacker’s, Yongguk must have wailed on him really bad, because he hurt his own knuckles.
“You beat him up, didn’t you?”
“Damn right I did...”
“You’ll need to get some testing done... his blood mixed with his... you don’t know what he has...” Yongguk only nodded at your instructions and you started to cover his wounded knuckles with ointment before wrapping them up with a bandage. “There you go...” you said when you finished. You closed the first aid kit and set it aside. There was a silence, and you and Yongguk just stared at each other. It was after a moment that Yongguk had pulled you into his arms, holding you tight against him.
“You are mine,” he growled in your ear, his hold getting a bit tighter. You blushed, returning the hug just as tightly.
“You don’t own me,” you murmured, causing Yongguk to laugh.
“I don’t think I can handle you like that,” he said with a small grin and you grinned back at him.
“You sure as hell can’t.”
He laughed again before leaning in and taking your lips with his. He leaned over you until you were lying on your back, and he hovered over you, still kissing your lips. You shivered when he ran his hands down your sides and you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Yongguk was your knight in shining armor, and you trusted him with everything. Sure, he may be a gang leader and gets into so much trouble, but Natacha was right, he did have a very big and warm heart, and will do anything to protect those he cared for.
Your tongues mingled together, the two of you now naked and under the covers. Your nails dug into the skin of his back, gasps and moans leaving your mouths with each movement he made. You clung onto him as tightly as you could, almost as if you were afraid to lose him if you let go of him. Even when he pulled away, toppling down next to you, you still kept your arms around him. “Yongguk...”
“Call me oppa.”
You snorted and slapped his shoulder. He would ruin the moment with his dorkiness. He laughed and dug around under the blanket, carefully turning on the bed and tossing away the condom he had used. After, he turned back around and clung onto you, nuzzling against your neck. “You won’t have to worry about him anymore, okay? I made sure I got the message across to not mess with my girls.”
You giggled. “I dunno if Zelo would like you calling Natacha your girl.” Yongguk shrugged his shoulders and you giggled again, leaning over to peck his lips lightly. Oh, how your life had changed after one awful night.
~*~One Month Later~*~
“Aish! Come on, man, move!” Natacha bumped her shoulder roughly against Zelo’s the two of them sitting on the floor in front of the giant TV, playing a racing video game. You sat on the couch watching them, Yongguk’s hand in your lap, your hand running through his hair slowly.
“Yah, noona! I’m not going to go easy on you!”
“Bring it!”
You chuckled and shook your head. Who knew you’d be hanging around with a couple of gangsters, minus yourself and Natacha of course. They did very dangerous things that you didn’t like, but it was something that you couldn’t really change, even though you hated it. During one of their gangster missions, Himchan had gotten shot on his shoulder, and was snow sulking on the other couch, his arm in a sling. As much as he liked being doted on, it was getting a bit boring not being able to do anything.
Yongguk had gotten himself tested, and has not contracted anything from having his blood mixed with your attacker’s blood the night Yongguk kicked his ass. Though, Yongguk did have to go back in to get tested in six months, mostly to check for HIV. It was a rather scary thing to think about, but you were sure that Yongguk would be fine. Still, you worried just a bit.
“I’ll be fine, Michelle,” Yongguk said from his place on your lap and you smiled down at him.
“Yeah, I just--” You blinked when a newspaper was dropped right on Yongguk’s face and Yongguk growled before sitting up, you grabbing the newspaper before it fell to the floor.
“Yah! Youngjae, you little shit!”
You looked over the page that Youngjae had left open from the newspaper, your eyes going wide at the article you was reading. “Y-you guys...” You called out. Natacha and Zelo paused the game they were playing, while Yongguk stopped trying to strangle Youngjae. Daehyun and Jongup walked out from the kitchen, Daehyun munching on a sandwich, and Himchan just looked over at you from the couch he was sitting on.
“What is it, Michelle?” Yongguk asked, not noticing the smirk on Youngjae’s face, since he had read the article before. You slowly turned the newspaper around so they could all see the article that you was reading. There was a picture of the man who attacked you right in the middle of the page, with the big, bolded words right at the top saying:
MAN CONVICTED OF RAPE AND ATTEMPTED RAPE: SENTENCED TO FIFTY YEARS-End-
