It’s late afternoon, the sun was bright and shining through your window. You can even hear the birds chirping but you could care less. You wanted to sleep in during your own birthday and maybe chug a couple of drinks at night. You tossed in your bed and buried yourself in your sheets. You wanted this day to go away fast!

“NATACHA!! OPEN THIS DOOR NOW!!” The yelling voice jolted you out of bed. “OPEN UP! “You slowly got up and opened the door.
“NATACHA! What the hell! It’s 4 in the afternoon and you’re still asleep?” you just blankly stared at Michelle who looked like she was ready to go out. “Hello! Are you alive?” she waved her hand in front of your eyes. You turn around and plopped back into your bed. “Nats, please don’t be like this. It’s your birthday for crying out loud! Get up! Or else, I’m coming over there! “You growled and rolled in your sheets barely sticking out your head. You liked a you were wrapped in a burrito. “Alright, you asked for it!” Michelle ran towards your bed and started jumping on it. You tried to avoid her annoying ways but she suddenly jumped hard which caused you to fall off the bed.
“Uh, SERIOUSLY? I don’t want to do anything so go away.”
“Ah, finally the birthday girl speaks. Alright, no more chit chat. Get ready because we are going OUT!”
“Ugh, I don’t wanna!” you lied on your carpet floor kicking your legs.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you. I brought someone with me. I hope you don’t mind”. Michelle turned towards the door. “Hey come and say hi to the birthday girl.” Your eyes widen by the sight of an Asian man with light brown hair and eyeliner. There is no way, you rubbed your eyes to make sure you were seeing correctly.
“Hi!” the man spoke with a deep voice and raised his hand and flashed a gummy smile.
“OMG!! It’s YONGGUK! WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE!” your heart started pounding and you were breathing heavily. You couldn’t believe it.
“Come on now, you know your girl got connections. He wanted to join us since you both share the same birthday!”
“Oh, I see. AH! I look like crap! ” you wrapped yourself in a fetal position scared how Yongguk was looking at you. You noticed Michelle motioning him to leave the room.
“Nats, get up and get ready!! We have a lot of stuff to do! Plus, it’s Yongguk’s birthday too you know. I have to care of two whiners!
“Hmph, I’m not a whiner!”
“Ok, I’ll be waiting in the living room with Yongguk. Just wear something nice and comfy ok?” you nodded and Michelle smiled as she made your way to the living room. You really couldn’t believe this was happening.

You were ready to go, with your slick black blazer, sequined top, skinny jeans, and some cute flats. You matched the mood perfectly with Yongguk wearing a white collared button down with jeans and Michelle wearing a fitted red cocktail dress. As you as you walked out the door the party started, sitting in the back seat of a slick silver convertible with Yongguk.
“Ok, Am I the chauffer or something?” Michelle complained while you and Yongguk giggled.
“Come on, it’s our birthday. Just go!”
“Drive woman, on the dot.” Exclaimed Yongguk, Michelle shrugged her shoulders and you headed off.

From playing loud music to dancing in the car wildly, you arrived at your first stop. Your crew arrived at a lavish Italian restaurant with the view of the city. Arm in arm you went up the stairs to the VIP lounge to indulge in a full course Italian dinner. Your food arrived and the eating immense. It was quiet at first, you felt awkward and star struck. Michelle was striking up a conversation with Yongguk and they were even sharing each other’s dishes, while you just stared on. Michelle noticed, and motioned with her eyes to talk to Yongguk. It took you a moment to realize what she wanted you to do, but you finally nodded and faced Yongguk.
“Hey Yongguk, you want to try my dish?” you slowly pushed your plate towards him.
“Heck yea, your plate looks good.” He dug his fork in the dish and took a bite. “Wow, it’s really good. I’m really enjoying this, ladies. Let’s have a toast!” He raised wine glass, you and Michelle followed in the toast. You slowly sipped on your glass but couldn’t help but notice Michelle looking at Yongguk strangely. You noticed that Yongguk is chugging his wine hard. He slammed his glass against the table causing it to shake a little.
“Wow, that was good wine right?” he looked puzzled looking at you and then Michelle.
“Well damn Yongguk, you took that in one shot…” you looked at Michelle and smiled. And on cue you began in unison. “Only one shot, only one shot. Something, something, something…. ONE SHOT!” You and Michelle busted out in laughter while Yongguk smiled and just shook his head.
“Ok well that was embarrassing.”
“Oh man, this is just the beginning birthday peeps. Let’s have our tiramisu and then let’s go to place number 2!

After a glamorous dinner, you 3 went to a lavish latin night club! The place was filled with people having a good time. The ambience was fun and entertaining but still relaxed. You and Yongguk had your time just playfully dancing and laughing on the dance floor. The poor guy had two left feet, but he was determined to learn the basic steps taught by you. He learned rather well, and you two had fun. He waved at Michelle to come to the dance floor. The three of you just had a good time, while Yongguk had a little bit of trouble sharing the floor with both of you. But in the end, you didn’t care about all that. You were having fun. Oh, not to mention the frequent runs to the bar to get your drink on. Yongguk attempted to stop you many times but he ended up drinking with you. Michelle noticed that you and Yongguk were getting pretty tipsy, so she carefully wrapped her arms on you and Yongguk’s waist and took you both to the car.
“This is great guys! This is the best time OF MY LIFE!!” you raised your arms and yelled loudly in the club’s parking lot. Yongguk followed in the cheers.
“Dear God, didn’t I tell you guys to not drink so much? I wanted to take you guys to a late night movie, but there is NO way they’ll let you in like this. Hey Yongguk, are you ok to the last thing you wanted to do?” he nodded.
“Wait, what other thing? TELL ME!” Michelle tossed a water bottle at you, started the engine and headed off.

You looked up and saw the moon and the stars were out and bright. You noticed the bright lights hit every street corner. It was beautiful, and was even more beautiful was the hotel you pulled up too. Yongguk escorted you and Michelle to abandoned club inside the hotel. The lights were dim and you noticed the stage with one mic stand. You look puzzled as Yongguk escorted you and Michelle to a table front and center. Yongguk swiftly walked up to the stage and tested the mic.
“Checking one, two, three? Annyeong? Can you hear me ladies?” you and Michelle shouted in response. “Ai’ght cool. Well, I never really had the chance to celebrate a birthday like this and I want to make it special. Natacha, since it’s your birthday too I want to dedicate this to you.” He cleared his throat and closed his eyes and began to beat box. The beat box led to him rapping, his voice was deep and intriguing but the lyrics were sweet and romantic. Talking about life, enjoying it, and loving it; speaking of love and chance and being happy. The lyrics were meaningful and hit the soul. He opened his eyes and you and Michelle gave a standing ovation to Yongguk. He flashed his gummy smile and he bowed. Michelle was clapping away but stopped when she heard sniffles. You started to cry and cry really hard.
“Nats, what’s wrong. Did you not like it?”
“No, it’s not that! I just, this is GREAT GUYS! I never felt so special and like yea. I’m just… I can’t explain.” You began to sob, and Michelle came over and patted your shoulders.
“Well, looks like your drunk. No more drinks for you ok Miss Birthday girl?” you stumbled a bit when trying to walk so Yongguk and Michelle ended up helping you.
“Where’s my presents? You slurred your words.
“Seriously, after all that I have done for you this the thank you I get?”
“No, this is great. I just…. UGH!” you stomped in frustration that you can’t get your words right. Yongguk also stumbled a little bit when trying to comfort you.
“Good thing I booked a room for all of us just in case this happened. Let’s go.” Michelle yet again had to help you guys to the room.
Michelle opened the door to the room and to your surprise there was a cake waiting ready to be eaten. You could see the words “Happy Birthday Nats and Yongguk” written on the cake. Michelle hurriedly placed the candles and lit them up. In unison, you all sang happy birthday and cheered. You and Yongguk made a wish and blew out the candles. You wanted to say something but you couldn’t. You slowly made your way to the bed and Yongguk followed.
“Uh guys! Wait, what are you guys going to do? Shouted Michelle. You just looked over and smiled at her.
“This was the best night ever, truly amazing. And Yongguk…you pointed right him. “You’re fine as hell and I really want to….” You couldn’t finish your words as you plopped onto the bed and fell asleep. Michelle looked at Yongguk and he blew her a kiss and gave her thumbs up. And he too, plopped on the bed. The two of you were sound asleep.

like ok what if i told you that...... i don't want to watch asian love scenes anymore! Yep you read correctly, there is JUST NO happy middle. Either it looks nice but it's short like 50 seconds or the story background is sad.. like there was one where it was photographer and a model and he couldn't find work so he wants to take pics of her in a hotel and she tells him that she's dying and she has a month to live! HOW SAD! but no dude, i think i want to go back to shojo dramas and cutesy stuff and THERE IS ON LOVE SCENE THAT"S JUST BEYOND CRAZY TO ME and it's making me crazy on how graphic and some parts were unnecessary and weird and just like IDK... i'm done.. first i'm thinking wow that's crazy then i'm thinking wow that must have been so hard to film then i'm feeling bad for the body doubles who had been involved and yea then i'm just like "is it necessary to go that cray cray and show it? UGH! no more man... it's plain dumb! so i thought i'd share the vid too (pretezl, i wouldn't watch it if I were you!!)
