Yo......It's so quiet here.......
Anyhoo, guess what? Some guy asked all of the students of my college to help him propose to his girlfriend!!! And the way he'll do it is by FLASH MOB!!! I would join in if I could, but I'm totally busy with exams and return demos and crap that I don't have time to learn the dance. Also, the proposal is this Friday, in the afternoon and at the mall, and I have an exam. I'll try to finish my exam before the proposal so I could watch it. I've always wanted to see a real live flash mob before. Flash Mobs are so cool- I wouldn't mind being proposed to that way.

I got really worried a few nights ago because I was looking at the website for the university I'm going to, and I saw on the page for the entrance scholarships (basically if your mark average is above a certain point they give you the scholarship no questions asked upon entering the university, you don't even need to apply) that it said something about "Entrance scholarships will not be adjusted based on final marks."

I got really panicked because they'd offered me the 1000$ per year one (since my average had been above 80%) but I've been really working hard to bump that average above 85% so I could get 2000$ per year one. That's pretty much the only reason I'm taking this semester, since I've already been accepted. But I emailed the school for clarification, and it turns out it's not adjusted for your final marks for semester two, but it IS adjusted for midterm marks. So as long as I work hard for the first half of the semester, it's very likely I'll be able to nab the 2000$/year scholarship, which will be a big help.

Affiliation is what is needed in order for me to graduate. In third year (the busiest year for student nurses), all nursing students in the Philippines need to go to Manila (the biggest and most popular city in the Philippines) and we have to stay there for 1 month, working at various hospitals (a orthopedic hospital- like for broken bones and stuff, a cardiac hospital- for heart problems, a mental hospital and a hospital that's known for communicable diseases). It's really big cause Manila is 10 hours away from where I live and that means we'll be living in dorms. I'll be away from my family and I'll be rooming with my classmates. My teachers will also be watching over us, of course.

In order to affiliate (in order for me to go), I have to make sure I pass all my classes from 1st-3rd year. I've been busy cause my school crammed all my major exams in this month!!! Gyaaaa!!! And there are other requirements- I have to make 53 nursing care plans (which are a major b**** to make), 200 psychiatric words in my own definition, and a thesis which me and my partner will have to go against a panel next week in order to explain it.

And if that's not all, we have to make sure our health is in top shape- because we're going to many hospitals, the teachers want us to be VERY healthy and not get sick. If we get sick, we'll get sent back and we have to affiliate next year (meaning we can't graduate). And affiliation is not cheap, mind you. It costs about $1000 and there's no refund. So I have to be careful with my health and I've been doing many tests (I had to take a blood test, take 3 vaccine shots, 1 flu shot and a chest xray). And next week I'll have to take a urinalysis (a pee test, which I'm worried about since I have UTI- urinary tract infection), and fecalysis (a poop test, yuck) and a pregnancy test a day before we leave (I know I'll pass this one ). Anyway, I'm just really tired already.

Haiiiii...I'm gonna need all the luck I can get. Yesterday, after taking 8 exams (yes, EIGHT), me and my friends were sitting down and I said, "Gyaaa! I don't want to affiliate anymore" and then I said, "Wait. I was just kidding. I want to affiliate but I don't want to go through this anymore". And all of my friends agreed. I've been so tired that I've been sleeping around 8 or 9pm nowadays XP.

College sucks...that's all there is to it. The highest number of exams I took in one day was during the end of my second year- I took about 12....now THAT was a killer- I almost died from brain overload that day D: It took me about 7am- 3pm to finish (and no breaks). I'm pretty sure it's only my college that crams exams in one day- I doubt other colleges do. Any other colleges students have this problem?

Yesterday I only had 2 exams (thank god) and today I have none (only class). Yosh~ I can work on my 53 nursing care plans (I finished half already).

2797. To the best of my knowledge, colleges and universities (a good chunk of my friends and also my sister are in post-secondary) around here don't usually cram them all in like that. XD I don't know about other places though.

Yo Taco- we're just talking about how I'm pretty much the only one here who saw the Ouran Movie. Anyway, if you guys want to do a nipplechat, you should plan it this month cause I won't be available until the second half of June or July, I think. And you have to be VERY precise about the time and date since I missed the last 2 nipplechats due to my poor timing .
