They don't celebrate it where you live? Although, I guess if Christianity is not the main religion, that would make sense. What's the main religion over there? Just curious.

I'm Catholic and that's the main religion here. I celebrated it back in Hawaii cause my schools used to do the easter egg hunt thing and such. But no, Easter isn't celebrated here. It's a shame cause I liked getting colored eggs and chocolate bunnies.

2822. haha, my family isn't really heavily religious (personally I'm agnostic), so Easter's pretty much an excuse to have a long weekend and get together as a family and have a nice meal, and also eat chocolate. >w<

It's been a long time since I've done an Easter egg hunt! I used to do them when I was much younger, but because of the dogs, hiding food around the house would be a horrible idea because they'd probably get to it first. XD

My mom said that when she and her parents used to do egg hunts in their home, her mother always forgot where she put one and they would have to wait until they could smell it rotting to find it

Yuck! Pretzel, that's gross. My school's used to map out the egg locations so they know if they got them all. And with the egg hunts with my family, we'd count all the eggs to make sure we got them all. I remember, I used to spend the day eating egg sandwiches, chocolate bunnies (or ducks) and marshmallow peeps. Ahhh....childhood.

2825. When we did them, we didn't actually hide real eggs. My parents hid the small individually foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, cuz it was a bit better if, like Pretzel said, no one found them, so they didn't rot. XD We still decorated hard-boiled eggs though~

........Soooooo.......are we still gonna do the nipplechat? I'm only available in March- in April and May, I'll be travelling so I probably won't be able to do it until June or July (most likely July). I'm free any day in March.
