He slowly makes his way up the stairs, his eyes glued to dj. His heart is racing and sweat rolls down his face. She sees him in the corner of her eye, focused on her spin table she ignores him coming her way. The crowd explodes with excitement when Taeyang reaches the booth and everyone is at a standstill to watch him make his move.
He clears his throat, “Um, e-excuse me?”
Hyun-ae slowly turns head, “Can I help you with something?”
“Uh, I-I just wanted to…..”
“Look if you don’t want to request a song, and then get off my booth.” Hyun-ae turns back to her table in another attempt to get lost in the music. Taeyang blankly stares at her and notices something on the floor.
”Hey miss, you dropped this…. Hello? Miss? You dropped this.” Repeated attempts failed to get her attention. He looks at the lipstick case she drops and slips it in his pocket. He sees the crowd gathering around the booth and he just shrugs his shoulders as he makes his way back to the V.I.P. The boys bust out in laughter at his failed attempted. He stuck his nose in the air and made his way back to his seat.
“Damn hyung, looks like I’m the only master of this group?” said Seungri. Taeyang turns to his manager with a plea.
“Can we go home please? I’m really tired.” His manager nods firmly.


The boys make their way back to their dorm; they avoided crowds and crazy fans like they also go. The once loud bus suddenly turned quiet as the boys rested.
“Ah, finally some peace and quiet” taeyang said to himself. His eyes slowly started to close but disrupted with a poke in his pocket. He remembered that he picked up the dj’s lipstick case. He stares at the pink case for a moment and slowly starts to open it. But there was no lipstick inside….
“Huh? What’s this?” he said carefully trying not to wake the others. His manager looks over and his eyes widen.
“Taeyang, where did you get that?” his voice started to quiver.
“At the club we went to, at the booth. What’s the problem?”
”WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?” he whispered loudly. “What you are holding is a fucking pipe!” He leans closer to his face. “Do you know who uses those things? DRUGGIES AND BUMS! And you sir are not one of them! Shit, I knew we shouldn’t have gone to the club. Ok I need to report this to the club; they shouldn’t allow stupid druggies to dj….”
“No, I’ll report to the club! Please let me do it. I caused the problem, so I’ll take care it of”
“Fine, he huffed. “I’ll take care of this junk and keep your mouth shut about this got it? Just be careful ok, so go at night or something and take one of the guards with you. Dress up low so no one can spot you.”
He nodded firmly with a stern look on his face.
“Shit, what did I get myself into?” he asked himself. He was worried and scared. How can normal day gone out so wrong. What if the paparazzi finds out? What if there are sasaeng fans find out? They will blog about it and the entire world would know. He was going to do this without making a sound.




Meanwhile, Hyun-ae is in her messy room. The walls stained with tar and the floor covered with papers and trash. The small window shed a small amount of light in her small room. She is searching and searching throwing stuff across the room. Her hands were shaking, sweat rolling down her face.
“DAMNIT! Where is it? I need to find it, before he finds out about it. CRAP!” she continues to scurry through her pile of junk.
“Geez, I really wanted to try this new stuff but I can’t find it…” her search suddenly interrupted when the door slammed opened.
“Looking for something?” asked the husky voice as he was looking down at Hyun-ae. She just sat on the floor helplessly looking at him like a lost puppy.
“Hi, ahjussi! How are you? I’m just doing the usual”
“Sniffing around like a dog, yea that’s not unusual.” She frowned upon his comment while he chuckled. He walks swiftly towards her and cups her chin.
“Listen little girl, no more puppy eyes. It’s time to get ready to go to Hongdae. You will perform in Club Vera for 4 days, you can thank me later.”
“Ahjussi, you smell like cigarettes.”
“So do you.” He smiled and gently kissed her forehead. He was more than just a manager, he was her protector. He was the only one she can count on; he is the only one that she can do anything for. She will do whatever he says. She will do anything…..


It’s 2 in the morning; Seoul is completely different at night. The streets are full with people and the bright lights on buildings is almost blinding. Taeyang and his guard wore dark clothing and a face mask to easily make their way through busy Seoul to reach Club Answer. They couldn’t get much information but they told them where her whereabouts might be. There were lead into a dark alley way, there were people sleeping on the streets and there was disgusting order. Taeyang’s guard stayed close to him…
“Sir, I thought you were supposed to report that girl.” He whispered.
”I couldn’t do that; it’s not fair to her. What if it was just a mistake?”
“God, this place is a dump. Look at all this… DAMNIT!” the guard shouted in anger as he stepped onto a big pile of trash left in the ally way. Taeyang looked around frightened; he didn’t want anyone to be suspicious of them. He punched the guard in the arm to quiet up. They made their way through the muck, but it was definitely not over. There were children looking mercilessly at them as if they were asking for help. There old men wrapped up in ragged blankets to keep warm. They were watching their every move. The guard started to get nervous.
”Sir, it’s not safe here. We need to leave; I promise I won’t tell your manager what you did. Come on let’s go.” He slightly yanks on Taeyang’s sleeve but he doesn’t move.
“What kind of dirty place is this? All these people, they look so sick. Why?” his voice started to quiver, his eyes darkened with a black shadow. His body started to become weak; the guard caught him before he hit the ground.
“We need to get you out of here, you had a long day! Let’s GO!” he wrapped his arm around Taeyang’s waist and carefully placed Taeyang’s arm on his shoulder. The dark alley way was going to be the nightmare that would haunt his dreams for many nights.
