I had a very interesting conversation at lunch just now. We had fried rice (my grandma's fried rice is so goooodddd. It has egg, spicy spam, sausage, onions and garlic. Simple but it's heaven). Anyhoo, I was reading a mpreg (male pregnancy) fanfic, so when we're eating I asked my grandma how she felt if a male got pregnant. She made a look, but told me that if it happens, then it happens- it wasn't the guy's fault. I totally respected her- cause even though she's not thrilled about the concept, she'll still accept it.

Then I told her that I heard that there was a mpreg before (the male was orginally a girl and had a sex change). She nodded and told me something that made me go---->
Apparently, I have 2 cousins that had sex changes. They are both siblings (a girl and a boy) and they both had a sex change. I found it kinda ironic since the sister wanted to be a boy and the brother wanted to be a girl. My grandma used to babysit them and they now lived in New York and are both married (to other people, not to each other). My family's weird isn't it?

Then she told me that my grandpa's brother is gay. I actually now him (He's lives about 20 mminutes away) so I'm again like----> And then she told me that even though he's married and has a grown up son, he has a young male lover..... And what's more is that he is 68 years old and his lover is 20-something.... And to put the cherry on top, his lover is his own wife's nephew......
I don't give a s*** if he's gay or has a young lover....but he's cheating on his wife with her own NEPHEW!!! And my grandma says that the wife knows but doesn't care. They're still married even though they don't love each other.

Lunch at my house is always very intersting...we had many weird conversations, but this is by far the weirdest.

It's okay...even I don't know how to respond. The sad part is, I know even more weird stuff in this circus of a family I have.I'm glad that I'm considered 'normal' compared to the rest of them. Yay for me!

okay so my anime club had four people who couldn't go to Anime North okay, even though I paid for tickets, turns out they couldn't make it. that was fine, we could get refunds.
Two of the club veterans decided they wanted to go with us, that was A-OK and cool because we love them.
so I emailed the Anime North staff asking if it was possible just to change the names on two of the tickets. I expected a "here's how!" or "nope sorry", but instead, since I told them the names of those I wanted refunded and those I wanted changed, they just did it for me.

so I was like "YES YAY EVERYTHING SORTED OUT WOOHOO!"

and then five minutes after posting about it on our club's FB group, I get a PM on FB
it's one of my good dudefriends
saying he's dropping out.
I was like "X_X BRO I JUST REFUNDED THEM DAMMIT"

(he says he's not expecting a refund, but tickets are limited this year and I'm kind, so I'd rather refund it so the ticket becomes available again to the general public. >.<)

DAMMIT THIS WHOLE CLUB RUNNING THING IS FRUSTRATING SOMETIMES.
