- I feel bad for saying this because I love the live action a lot and have enjoyed both first 2 episodes, but I really didn't like this one at all. ): They focused too much on Ayame that any actual host club interaction or character screentime got shoved out. The parts that we really wanted to see (the Bali cosplay, the dance party) felt rushed so I wish they had covered the dance episode entirely instead. With the very few episodes that this show will probably have, I don't understand why they would use up one episode for a one-chapter character.
BUT BUT BUT, Tamaki was cute in his pedobear costume and we got a KyouTama shot and Haruhi kissed a girl on the lips so at least we had that. I'm sure the rest of the episodes will be much better.

I wish they just made it like the second episode of the anime.
But... I loved that I caught one of the twins fixing the other's jacket, and Haruhi dodged hearts, and Tamaki got rejected really badly more than once.
I really want a gif of Haruhi dodging hearts like a boss.

I loved seeing the host club members in their Bali cosplay gear lol
I like how they add animations to the scenes (floating hearts, Tamaki's silly daydreams, etc)
This live-action has been really great so far, I had my doubts but not anymore ^_^
So now I'm just gonna sit here and anticipate about episode 4. . . .

too much Ayame's drama(not that i dislike her)... i mean i don't understand anything they say so if they get too serious and talk a lot i just get bored xD with the subs maybe i change my opinion.

Since I loved Ayame on the manga, I got pretty excited about seeing her on the live action... <3 the actress was absolutely awesome btw
but I really do think some things should not have been so rushed... but anyway, it's still Ouran and I'm so biased it's scary.

Since this isn't a member introduction thread, I'll just go straight to the point.
I think Ep3 was even better than Ep1-2. It was Ep1 >> Ep2 >>>> Ep3 for me. This drama really keeps getting better! Of course, knowing the fact this drama won't have that much number of eps to cover the whole original story, I do pity the fact that they'd choose a filler story to adapt, where the guest is the main focus. But the cast's performance were all very good, the plot was neatly combined and re-written, and the comedic scenes are hillarious, so I vote this as the best episode so far. Am I the only one who LOVED the oxygen tank scene?? LOL! Esp. how Mori-sempai tend the oxygen mask to Honey-sempai first :<3:
I didn't understand why Ayame was called the "Miss Morse", when I read the manga. Or rather I couldn't really imagine how anyone would talk like a morse code machine. But thanks to the drama, it makes sense to me now! Omg, she actually talks like one! haha~
Loving the ballroom dance too, aww... they're all such charming, adorable princes. I wish Haruhi would dance too
Does anyone know the classic music played for the ballroom dance? Is that an existing classic piece? Or is it an original track of Ouran Live-action ost, I wonder? Though, I loved the anime's ballroom dance music too (Waltz with Adonis), but this live action version sounds so cuter and fairy-taley!^v^
Oh, btw, I'm disappointed that they didn't actually wear the Bali cosplay, they mentioned their cosplay in this epi as "southern countries(nangoku)" cosplay. Tamaki's costume looks like Arabian. Kyoya's looked something like "south-east asian" though. And why must Mori hold a pineapple? LOL, so random, but I like it!^v^

The classical at the end scene sounded familiar but that could just be the stylistic things. I'll try and track it down though.

I think it was great! I liked Tamaki in his bear costume- and when they went for the oxygen tanks how Mori got Honey on his first...so cute!

But for this episode, i mainly loved the beginning and the end. Ayame is fine, but I really missed the host club...
They weren't shown much. I loved Kuma-chan though...a little bigger than i imagined, but he was so cute! And Tamaki in the pedobear suit......LOVE IT!
I loved everyone in glasses- I have a glasses fetish so it was AWESOME! And of course, the end...
But for this episode, i mainly loved the beginning and the end. Ayame is fine, but I really missed the host club...

- I was a little worried that there would be no lesbian kiss, but there it was. XD I loved it when haruhi flung Tamaki out- I felt sorry for him, but I was LOLing the whole time. And Ayame really is pretty- i didn't think so much in the beginning- good job Hikaru and Kaoru.
