“Is that for Zelo?”
Nikki sighed softly as she set down the rather large gift box on the floor in the corner of the back room. Today, B.A.P was scheduled for an interview, that will end with a performance from the boys. It also happens to be Zelo’s birthday. The boy was turning 16 today, and Nikki was nervous about giving him the gift that she bought for him.
She turned around and nodded at Chocolate. She was Chocolate’s assistant when it came to dressing up the boys and such. She’s been working for TS Entertainment for around six months, and Nikki was having a great time. The boys were a bunch of dorks and Chocolate was fun to work with. “Yeah, I picked it up this morning,” she answered Chocolate.
“Oh? What did you get the maknae?”
Before Nikki opened her mouth to answer her, she could hear the very loud voices of the six boys she had come to love from outside of the room. Quickly, Nikki took off her jacket and threw it on top of the gift box before throwing her messenger bag on top of it as well, successfully hiding the box. She straightened out her shirt and fixed her hair quickly, ignoring Chocolate’s raised eyebrows. The boys walked into the room excitedly and Nikki greeted them with a smile.
“Noona~!” As per usual, the giant himself came charging at Nikki, pulling her in for a big hug. She laughed and returned the hug, trying to the control the redness on her face.
“Hey, Zelo! Happy birthday~!” she cheered happily and he pulled away from the hug, a big smile on his face.
“You remembered, noona?”
“Of course I did! I would never forget your birthday!”
“Yeah, but you forget mines!” Himchan whined from where he was standing and Nikki just blinked before smiling innocently. She sure did forget Himchan’s birthday... oops. It seems like he wasn’t over that just yet... But of course, this would be normal coming from Himchan.
“I did?”
“Yes! You even remembered Daehyun’s birthday! You don’t love oppa?”
“Eh, not as much as I love Daehyun and Zelo~”
Himchan’s mouth dropped and Nikki just laughed loudly, joined by the other members. Yongguk just patted Himchan on his shoulder, and Himchan pouted, making Nikki laugh harder.
“Ahaha, I’m sorry, oppa~” she said after a moment, blowing Himchan a kiss. Himchan just stuck his nose up in the air, ignoring her and Nikki snorted. She turned to Zelo, who was still grinning and she playfully hit his arm. “Come on, let’s get you guys ready for the interview~”

Chocolate and Nikki had gotten the boys ready and it was almost time for the boys to go onto the set for their interview. Nikki fixed the collar on Jongup’s shirt, earning a smile from the boy. She quickly straightened up Youngjae’s jacket and continued down the line, fixing any small things she could fix to make the boys look perfect. Chocolate nodded approvingly at Nikki taking the time to look at every small detail. Signs of a good worker.
“Okay you guys! Good luck~!” Nikki called to them as they filed out happily. Zelo was the first to leave the room and he turned to Nikki.
“Make sure you watch us, noona~!”
Nikki grinned at him in response. “Of course!” she answered. Zelo winked at her before turning around to leave the room, missing the fact that Nikki had turned extremely red at his actions. After a moment, she felt a slap on her back and she looked to Chocolate. Chocolate just stared at her for a moment before she spoke.
“You like him?”
“I-! How’d you...”
“By how you’ve been acting around him, it’s pretty obvious.”
Nikki bit her lip, fidgeting a bit. “Don’t you think it’s weird, unnie? Ugh, I feel like a pedonoona,” Nikki groaned and hung her head, earning a laugh from Chocolate, who patted her back.
“Actually, I think it’s cute. Now come on, you promised your love you were gonna watch them, right?” Chocolate smiled teasingly.
“U-unnie! He’s not my love!” Oh God, why?

So the guys were doing really well with the interview and Nikki was happy and surprised to see that the boys, and most likely the staff of the studio, and arranged for a cake to be brought out after the interview in celebration of Zelo’s birthday. The boy was beaming happily when the cake was brought out, and Nikki found it incredibly cute at how shy he had gotten when they all started to sing Happy Birthday to him, making him blow out the candles that were lit on the cake. Afterwards, it was time for them to perform. They started off my performing Crash, and Nikki was dancing around in her seat, clapping happily after they finished the song.
But then another song started to play and Nikki’s jaw hit the floor. She could hear Chocolate laughing loudly, but all Nikki could do was focus on the screen as the boys performed No Mercy. “Oh God...” Nikki groaned, covering her face, put peeking at the TV between her fingers. The dreaded hip thrusts and crotch grab came and Nikki just groaned louder, slumping in her chair. “WHY?” she hollered, which had Chocolate laughing hard.
“All the better to torture you with, Nikki~”

“Yah, Nikki why are you red?” Himchan had finally stopped ignoring her and casted her a bit of a worried look at her red face. Her face was red for various reasons. One: their No Mercy performance, and two: they were packing up their stuff, and it was almost time for her to give Zelo his gift. She didn’t know why she felt so nervous. It was just a gift, dammit.
“I’m fine, oppa. Just... I’m fine...” she answered, biting her lip. Himchan just blinked before shrugging and going to gather his things. Nikki just took a deep breath and went to her corner where she hid the gif. “Yah, Zelo! Come here...”
Zelo looked over at Nikki and dropped his stuff to the floor before going over to her. “What is it, noona?”
Nikki just quietly grabbed the big box from under her jacket and her back before turning and handing it over to a surprised Zelo, her face red as she tried to keep her eyes away from him. “Happy Birthday, Zelo. I got this for you.”
“Oh! What did she get for you, Zelo?”
“It’s a pretty big box. Did she get you something super expensive?”
The boys immediately crowded around the two, trying to coax Zelo in hurrying to open his gift. Zelo still looked a bit surprised but a smile started to form on his face. Nikki took a glance at him and she turned even more shades of red on how happy he looked.
“Wow, noona! I didn’t expect this! Thanks!” he said before he set the box down on the floor, squatting before he started to open it. “Ohh! This is awesome!” He opened the box to reveal a brand new skateboard. Zelo marveled at the skateboard, standing up straight and holding it up, his eyes wide and practically sparkling. “Noona! This is so great! Thank you so much!” He set the skateboard down on the floor before quickly bringing Nikki into a tight hug. Nikki screwed her eyes shut and returned the hug, her face feeling very hot and still very red. Oh God, okay.
“You’re welcome, Zelo.” she said quietly as they let go of each other. They each exchanged smiles, Nikki backing away a bit awkwardly.
Soon enough, the guys were piling out of the room, but Zelo was skating around on his new skateboard a bit, doing a few small tricks in the middle of the room.
“Yah, come on, Zelo. You can skate later~” Nikki called to him as you walked towards the door. The two of them were the last ones in the room, and she waited for him so the two of them could walk together. She turned around to look at him, and he was still on his skateboard rolling towards her. She expected him to get off it as he started to come closer, but he didn’t. He came closer and closer and Nikki didn’t have enough time to react as he got off his board right before he could crash into her, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her towards him and planting his lips right on hers.
Nikki was stunned by the sudden kiss, and even when he pulled away after a moment and he looked at her face with a huge grin on his face. Nikki blushed brightly, her eyes widening and her mouth opening and closing as she tried to find what to say.
“Z-Zelo! What...wh-why did you...” She covered her mouth with her hands, still shocked about what had just happened.
Zelo, on the other hand, was laughing at the expression on her face, quite pleased with her reaction. “I really liked the skateboard you got me... but I still wanted to get the gift that I really wanted, so, I just decided to get it for myself~”
...what?
“Come on, noona~ The hyungs are probably waiting for us!” Picking up his skateboard, Zelo just walked on out of the room, leaving a still stunned Nikki behind. She shook her head a few times before she quickly followed him out of the room, her mind whirling.
“W-wait! What do you mean by that?!”
