I kind of wanted unicorn hair wand (I got dragon heartstring and dogwood) because I love unicorns but reading the description of each, I think my wand suits me. XD (even though I heartily disapprove of having to get the wand material from a dead animal.)

This is a stupid question but...How do you get into Pottermore? I went to the website to try to get in, but I don't know what to do and I don't understand the rules or the video that was playing there. Can you guys help me?

Public registration isn't open yet. Everyone you see who's gotten on here, managed to get in through the Magic Quill challenge in August. For a week, there'd be a new clue each day, and a limited number of people would get in per day after solving the clue. I think the total was like, a million people got in before public registration?
I almost didn't get in and totally wasn't expecting to. XD I just managed to casually check just as the clue on the 6th day was available. >w< (it happened to be a Nipplechat Friday, too, and other good things tended to happen on Fridays for us during Ouran's run, so we decided it was the magic of Nipplechat. )

on that note, it amuses me that the ending theme is called Friday Ma-Magic. >w<

You see, I originally thought that Slytherin was for people that were mean and stuff, but they're the ones that are too nice, so no wonder I got in there. :/ I seriously never say "no" to anyone, haha, unless the person is one of my close friends.

Yeah, the beta period's gone on for longer than they intended. I don't know what's up.
It's unfortunate too because once you finish going through the first book, there's not much to do past dueling and potion making. They haven't made any of the other books available yet.

So Pottermore is boring? Hmmmm........I was never a Harry Potter fanatic (I just liked the movies) but Pottermore did get me curious. Btw, I'm still not allowed in.

It's not that it's boring, it's just that there's not enough to do. What is there is really entertaining, but there's not enough material.

I see....I guess I'll just have to try again later to get into Pottermore *sigh*

I'm in pottermore now. My favorite house is Ravenclaw cause I always loved what they were about. But when I played the game, I was hoping to get into Slytherin- just cause I thought that would be more interesting.

I'M IN RAVENCLAW!!!!!!!! I'm very happy cause that's my favorite house! Also, every harry potter test I took, they all said I would be in either ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I'm a true Ravenclaw by heart!

Are you sure that's your username? Pottermore says it couldn't find anyone with that username, and non-beta users have at least four numbers at the end of their names. (Beta users have 2 or 3, non-beta have 4 or 5 so far.)

I don't get the website. Is the only thing I can do going through the chapters of the books and read these little info-texts? That's not really fun. ._.

I think the extra bits of information are interesting, but the highest point of Pottermore for me was finding out which house I'm in. Because Pottermore is canon (because it's made by JK Rowling), I pretty much consider the house I'm sorted into on Pottermore to be the house I'm intended to be in. >w<

It gets fun once you go to Hogwarts- there you can buy stuff, make potions (took me 30 minutes to figure out that boil potion XP), collect free stuff and make spells (which I totally suck at, bulls***). I'll add you guys later- I have to go to school in 3 hours. Can someone give me a little help with the spells? I always score low around the 50-70 range.....
