Good Twins Day!
What's up!?
Yesterday, November 25, was "Good Twins" (ii futago - 1125) Day**!!
Looking at the number, isn't that how it's read?
Also!
When I went to the convenience store...
777 yen!!
It's super exciting~!
Hey, it looks like good things are gonna happen.
If something good does happen, I'll let you know!
And please continue cheering on us twins for a long, long time!
Sorry for the explanation-type entry!!
I'm going to see a play no~ow ♪
-------------
**Note: This holiday was started from a play on words with Japanese numbers, which have many readings, but some of which are:
1 = i(chi)
1 = i(chi)
2 = futa(tsu)
5 = go
So, if you say the numbers 1125 (Nov. 25), it comes out "ii futago" and:
ii = good
futago = twins
Strangely, Japan also actually has a "Twins Day", which is December 13. It was started back in 1874... though why they didn't just make it November 25 is beyond me (^-^')
