I think may be Handsome Thief is a cellphone drama, you know a drama that they can only watch on cellphone after paying the fee to get into the link. Normally those kind of drama plus all the information/adverisement about it only available in phone website. It kind of similar to TTTV.

So, even though I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to watch it, us outside Japan just can never got the chance

Apparently the drama was aired in the Tokyo area only. Then, anyone outside of that area can see it IF they have an iphone, ipod touch, ipad, or android. They go onto the AppStore or Android Market, search for "FINDOGA" and download... whatever it is... for free to be able to watch it.

If any of you have smart phones and want to try it, go for it! I just don't have a smart phone

*sob* everyone... this is my first time back since early September, when massive family problems and a new job beat me up.

I can't tell you how much I giggled all day yesterday and today while catching up on the last 35 pages of this thread. Seriously, I missed you and the wackiness and the TAGAKI PICTURES, HOLY CRAP. So naturally last night I dreamt of them eating noodles in my living room with their ridiculous shorts XD

Anyway, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Jade, Mrs.(Manpei)Takagi (did you divorce Manpei? is he free for a rebound?) and the rest of you for all the translations and pictures and Takagi love. You are a wonderful group of ladies!!

It's incredibly sad that info is lacking now that the drama is over, but I'm sure as we get closer to March and the release of the movie, things will pick back up again. They have to promote the movie, after all I look forward to their next projects~!

QUESTION: I am planning a trip to Japan in July and am wondering if anyone knows if the boys will be doing a stageplay at that time? I would plan my trip around one of their shows...

Sorry I haven't updated

From this morning I was filming for a different project!
I'm being challenged with a pretty interesting roll, so look forward to it!

the drama "Ouran High School Host Club" is completely finished filming!!

It's all done.

I'm sad...

Too sad.

Now that it's over, I'm feeling again how big Ouran's presence is to me. How big Hitachiin Hikaru's presence is. How important the host club is.

When I think that I'll never play Hikaru again, I get really sad.

Lately I think I spend a lot of time just like, spacing out on my own.

But that's what happens when you work at something with all of your strength!
I'm really glad that I came across it.
I'm proud to have been a part of such a wonderful project.

I've been really encouraged.
As an actor, I've grown.

Well, right now no one knows if there will be a season 2 or not. It depends on what the movie is about, really. If they play around but DON'T tie in all the loose ends or make Haruhi and Tamaki get together, it's a possibility they'll do another season. But if they "finish" the story that Bisco wrote in the manga, make them fall in love and tie up the loose ends, I don't think it will be possible to have a season 2. Looking at the end of season 1 (having the host club get nearly suspended and Haruhi and Tamaki falling for each other), and Shin's statement that he'll "never play Hikaru again", I assume they're going to end it at the movie (T_T)

Hello!
It's Shinpei who had a serious hangover when he woke up ♪

Cause last night we had an Ouran party!!

I haven't seen the Ouran members for awhile, so I got this, like, nostalgic feeling.

Hair colors have changed, from brown to black...

Along with my happiness, my alcohol intake went up...
And the result was a hangover ♪

* Someone asked me before if the twins have an accent and if it ever shows up in their blogs. I said yes but I didn't have an example. Now I do. Here's a comparison so you can see his accent even if you don't know Japanese:

Proper Japanese: "tsutsunnde iru no yo ne toiu"
Normal Spoken: - "tsutsunnde -ru n- yo ne tte"
Shin's Nagoyan: - "tsutsunnde --- n- ya na tte"

It's still mild, but it made be do a double take when I was translating it! (^-^) It's a mix of lazy boy speech + a Nagoyan accent~ XDD It's really cute <3

Anyone after looking at the latest pics with the twins going back to their hometown I was thinking is their family well off? I thought this before actually but their family home seems pretty big and if its true they are family of 8 eights kids that was a lot of mouths to feed also they have alot of dogs which makes more mouths to feed and I'm their dog oliver is not a cheap dog.
They might not be but I was just thinking.. forgive my mind tends to think about unecessary things!

Nice to hear from you again, Nicky! We missed you! It's crazy how so many of us are having computer problems.

(Mine hasn't broken down completely yet, but it's been moving mighty slow lately. . .I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that I have over 100 pictures of the Takagi twins saved on my hard drive. . . .?

To sort of answer your last statement about the twins' family being well off. . .I've actually been asking myself similar questions. I have quite a few pictures of them or their dogs that were taken in/around their parents house and I have to admit, it looks pretty darn nice!

Plus their parents live in a house and not in an apartment (maybe where they live in Nagoya is less cramped and crowded compared to Tokyo?) The interior looks really amazing. . .I remember that picture of (I think it was) Manpei with their monster-dog Oliver-kun in his and Shin's old bedroom in their parents house. . .that bed he was laying on was pretty huge! And if there was another bed next to it, that means that that must be a pretty big room!
On Shinpei's blog, he has photos of a lot of the paintings, statues, and other artwork their parents have in their home and they DO look pretty expensive. . .

And like you said, if they have such a big family and a bunch of pets running around, it does seem like the come from an upper-class family, doesn't it?

You may be onto something there Nicky, but it's so hard to tell. Man and Shin never appeared to me as coming from a rich family(well, maybe sometimes the way they dress. . .) It still amazes me that there's still so much about them we don't know!
Not that it's any of our business what their parents or siblings do for a living, but still. . .

Oh, and to Reina about my name change. . .it's a long and silly reason for that: when I first learned about the twins back in July, for some reason I favored Manpei more than Shinpei. And now for the past month or so, I've been TOOOOOTALLY Shinpei crazy! Now I'm bouncing back and forth between the two of them, and since they have the same last name, I figured it would make better sense to just remove Manpei's name and leave the "Takagi".

I really REALLY wouldn't mind being in a polygamous marriage with BOTH of them as my husbands anyway. . .

its was really funny when I saw the pic with Man and Shin on the train (sharing headphones), because Man had a hood and because when I first looked at it from a distance I thought it was a girl with long hair next to Shin so I said 'who is that bith next to Shinpei!' than after closer inspection I realised it Manpei and said 'oh its not a bitch its Manpei!'

Is it kind of sad/pathetic/disgraceful that we somehow manage to mistake a 26 year old man for a girl. . .?

Can any of you actually picture either Man or Shin with facial hair? (It's a very silly and random question, I know. . .) but I was just thinking about that earlier today. . .I mean they're ALWAYS shown having clean and smooth, youthful faces but again, they're both grown men *shudders at the thought* and at their age, even the most clean shaven guys are using a razor on their face a couple of times a week at best, right?

If I try hard enough, I think I can actually picture Manpei with a thin mustache or even some fuzz growing on his chin, but as for Shinpei. . . .AGH, IT'S THAT BABY-FACE!!!
I still think Shinpei's profile is too "impish" to pull off any facial hair without it looking kind of comical, y'know?

Seem like I'm not the only one got mistake here, do I? At first glance I REALLY thought Manpei was a girl, and I remember I was slightly surprise because Asian actor are generally never post a two-shot with a opposite sex person (it can raise too many rumour you know) In fact for about 1/10 second I really thought Shin was introducing his... girlfriend But after that I realised it's only Manpei. Seriously with his hood up like that, his hand on his chin like that, he looks amazingly like a girl.

About you picture, Mrs.Takagi, are we back to "Which one is Shinpei-kun?" game here Strangely I have an opposite opinion to you, I always think Shin is on the right, because Manpei (if he really is Manpei ) was dressing in white and I always picture Man with white clothes. You're welcome about the blogs!! I had fun with it (^-^) He makes me laugh so much~ AND... I KNOW!! That role sounds awesome~ so adult and suspense. It's like the polar opposite of Hikaru. I want to go see that play so much (T_T) But what kills me is living in Japan and STILL missing everything I want to see because I have to live in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the country from Tokyo (@_@) I will remedy this one day...


Anyway, the picture. That might be the most difficult "who is who?" question in the history of the Twins~!! LOL Usually I can tell who is who with just a glimpse, but this one is just CRAZY. I can't stop staring at this picture and debating with myself!

But finally... I agree with yetimati~ I think Shin-chan is on the right. For me, it's their eyes. Shin's look warmer, softer, and more "open" to match his outgoing personality. Man-chan's, on the other hand, have a different look to them. Not cold, but... more distant? He was a lot more shy back when this picture was taken, so that's not really surprising (^^')

Also, even though they're making funny faces, Man's face is slightly longer than Shin's... which I think fits the left. Plus, I swear, if you look close enough, you can maybe kind of slightly possibly see the freckle on Man's eye Yeah, I know I'm probably hallucinating XD But then there's the issue of the plunge neck white T-shirts Man is so fond of wearing, and I decided Man is on the left and Shin is on the right!


As for #2... NO!! No facial hair!! I can't imagine it at all (and I'm not really fond of the idea, either) But then again, they've been playing the Hitachiin brothers, and they look like 16 year olds. I guess in my head they're stuck in that "teenager" image in my head right now and I can't imagine facial hair on them like this:



But if I try to imagine them with black hair and looking more grown up...? Hmm... it's possible they could manage a slight moustache with that kind of beard that's just a bit of hair on their chin. Like in this picture, for example, I could see them both with that:

It was only for a short while, but it was really fun and let me feel refreshed.
The time I spent with my family
It's definitely special.
I treasure it.
And more than anything else, getting to see my grandma!
She was really doing well~

When I told her "do your best to stay upbeat until I get back to see you!", she just replied with *smile*.
It was just a *smile* but it was amazingly powerful.

I think Man wrote about it in his blog, too, but until recently, our grandma was severely ill...
to the extent that they declared she only had so much time left to live.

But Grandma fought for her life and won.
She hasn't completely recovered yet, but she can eat and carry on a normal conversation now.
Before, she couldn't even think.
She's a really amazing person.
A smile from this kind of grandma is more powerful than anything else.

It made me think that I absolutely have to give it my all, too.
Thanks, Grandma.

Just giving it a try, but it looks like that might be Shin on the left. . .

Anyway, the picture. That might be the most difficult "who is who?" question in the history of the Twins~!! LOL Usually I can tell who is who with just a glimpse, but this one is just CRAZY. I can't stop staring at this picture and debating with myself!

But finally... I agree with yetimati~ I think Shin-chan is on the right. For me, it's their eyes. Shin's look warmer, softer, and more "open" to match his outgoing personality. Man-chan's, on the other hand, have a different look to them. Not cold, but... more distant? He was a lot more shy back when this picture was taken, so that's not really surprising (^^')

Also, even though they're making funny faces, Man's face is slightly longer than Shin's... which I think fits the left. Plus, I swear, if you look close enough, you can maybe kind of slightly possibly see the freckle on Man's eye Yeah, I know I'm probably hallucinating XD But then there's the issue of the plunge neck white T-shirts Man is so fond of wearing, and I decided Man is on the left and Shin is on the right!


As for #2... NO!! No facial hair!! I can't imagine it at all (and I'm not really fond of the idea, either) But then again, they've been playing the Hitachiin brothers, and they look like 16 year olds. I guess in my head they're stuck in that "teenager" image in my head right now and I can't imagine facial hair...

We go through years (or in my case, months) of obsessing over these twins, proudly describing how easy it is for us fangirls to tell them apart and what finally stumps us??

You guys may be totally right though, that may be Shin on the right. I still really can't tell, I literally just spent 10 minutes staring at the photo and I'm still at a loss for telling them apart. . . .
It's really just the fact that they're making such funny faces, if they were just smiling normally, there'd be no question of who is who.

To be honest, so am I. . .I actually think certain guys look very hot with facial hair and other look better without (and Man and Shin definitely belong in the WITHOUT category). In another strange twist of events. . .barely 8 months ago, me and my sister were having this discussion about how I just could NOT stand pretty boys. . .then cut to me discovering the Takagi twins. . .
I've realized that when it comes to the "boyishly handsome" look. . .it definitely works better with Asian guys.

Because I know for a fact there are American actors who have that same look going on and while other girls are looking at them and going "Awwwwww. . .." in my head I'm going "Ewwwww. . ."

Anywho, I figured since they're slowly edging towards 30 *shudders* that maybe they might try to find ways to look more "adult" so maybe they'd get more serious acting roles instead of playing the "cute and loveable" young guys. I had no idea that some young men actually had trouble growing facial hair O_O I just figured it was something that happened naturally.

Today I had dress rehearsal for the play "Donden".
There are lots of things I'm experiencing for the first time, so I'm just soaking it all in.
To think that I'm still quite inexperienced is amazing! It's a really good experience for me to have. I've got a lot of things to master before the performance, but I'll definitely be ready in time, so please look forward to it!

I HAVE BEEN WONDERING THE SAME THING!! He was so athletic and toned looking when he was in Prince of Tennis, but his face was really thin. Thinner than Man's, actually. I'm still having some issues in writing proper English, so excuse my lack of express =X It really is a bother to me that I'm not able to say all the things I want to - as I mentioned before in the introducing thread - actually, I like to write novels. But I'll do my best, just like Man and Shin say

The picture of them is just crazy! It's totally easy to tell both of them apart, but here... I'm speechless I would agree with Jade-sama, since the right one looks more like Shin, even though the left one's eyes look rather bigger to me... So I'm totally confused

In this pic it's almost impossible to tell who is who! But I know that I still can tell in "normal" pics, so I'm satisfied

What would think of them if they suddenly decided to "bulk up"? Hehehe. . .

Because let's not beat around the bush, they are pretty slim (or petite, or lanky, or whatever you'd like to call it). And I was looking at a picture of a VERY topless Shunsuke Daito the other day *drool* and I made a mental note of how compared to the other actors on OHSHC, he has the most "meaty" physique. So I just started thinking about what the twins would look like if they just happened to put on a few pounds, then turn those pounds into muscle. . .what do you guys think?

Also, just for kicks, I wanted to post this video clips of Man-chan and the other main cast members from GekiRangers doing their commentary on a couple of episodes. Like I've stated in the past, my only purpose of watching these is to gawk at Manpei I swear I don't know WHAT it is about this particular clip but he looks especially sexy here.

He probably does talk the way he writes. For one, he always uses Nagoya accent in his posts (to varying degrees), so he's probably typing it out just as he's thinking it in his head. Plus, he's bubbly and personable, so I have this rather "ADHD" image of him~ lol Like he has too much energy to focus on only one thing for long enough to hold a full, normal conversation... XD Besides, I really think the twins are just very honest people. They don't seem to hide much about themselves. They're just so open about themselves and their relationship! It's amazing for a celebrity to be that way, but even more so for a JAPANESE celebrity to be so blunt and honest. It just makes me love them even more

So it really doesn't surprise me that Manpei was described as "kind and gentle"~ as for "beautiful"? We all knew that already!! lol
